Thank goodness for Throwback Thursday posts! I’ve been busy with other online things and adding items to my Etsy Shop.  This one is not even a year old yet, but still a “Throwback” and  one of my favorite Valentine mini albums.  I created this one and posted about it on February 13, 2014.  You can read the original post >Here<.

Here’s a bit about what I said about it last year:

“I created this by following a Ustream tutorial video on Prima’s channel–La Botanique Pocket Box Min Album with Steff Miller.

It was really easy and only required scoring, folding and cutting to assemble it and then add your own decorative pieces, pages and pockets.  It was fun!”

There’s also a video showing the entire album in the original post.

Well, the weekend is almost here.  I have plans to work on some Design Team projects as the cold temperatures and rain will be creeping back and I don’t go outside when it’s cold.  Okay, I don’t go outside when it’s hot either. Ha, ha.

Happy Crafting,

Hello, well as promised in my last post, I did finish this mini album last week.  But I did not take photos and share them–until today.  This morning I was able to go into my crafty room, take photos and do a couple of videos that I will be posting to Youtube later today.

I also have a few pre-cut kits of this project for those of you in the USA. These will be listed in my Etsy shop that you can access by clicking on the Etsy shop tab under my header or the Etsy gallery in the blog sidebar.  These should be in the shop by this evening.  The cost will be $40 + tax (if applicable) and includes free shipping!  You get EVERYTHING in the kit to finish yours just like mine!

Here are the images I took of all the pages in this adorable Forever Love paper bag mini album.  A perfect gift for someone special this Valentine’s Day!  Hope you have a wonderful day! I know many in the Northeast of the USA are having snow and some are having blizzards.  Makes me almost hesitant to say…it is like Spring for a few days right now in North Texas!  We are expecting one day to be near 80(f) degrees!

Click on the image below to view all of the pages in a larger size and in a slide show.  Click “Next” (upper right of each image) to move on to the next one.

Today I’m sharing what I’m working on this week–a Valentine/Love Paper Bag Mini Album!  Love, love, love these My Mind’s Eye papers that I’m using and all the fun embellishments I’ve found. I hope to have this little gem done by the end of this week AND post a few kits in my Etsy shop.  The kits will be pre-cut and probably list for around $45 (less if I can).  I will only have a few, so if you’d like to buy one and get it made by Valentine’s Day this year you can convo me in my Etsy store or use the contact me feature here on my blog to reserve a kit.  These are really easy to put together and you could get one done in an evening or a day for sure! Oh yes, when you purchase a kit, you will also get the pdf instructions on how to make it!

This is the inside front page.  A cute glittery cupid and the title of the album “Forever Love.”  I’ll share more photos this week as I get them done.
Have a great day and Happy Crafting,

Hello everyone!   It’s time for another challenge at Cards in Envy!  This time we are GOING GRAY! Yep, for the challenge we are looking for cards that are mostly gray!  Don’t worry that gray cards are dull or boring because they can look fabulous with just a tiny bit of color.  The CIE designers have done a fabulous job with this challenge, so check out their cards on the Cards in Envy blog.  The challenge runs until February 1st.  We’d love to see your cards that have GONE GRAY.  Remember cards for our challenge must be A2 size (4.25″ x 5.5″) and flat enough to fit in an envy for mailing.

Creation Details:

  • Cardstock – Dark and Light Gray
  • Papers – My Mind’s Eye 6×6 “Memorable”
  • Flowers – Prima
  • Stickles – Diamond (Brushed on the flowers)
  • Ribbon – Really Reasonable Ribbon, Sheer Gray Plaid
  • Sentiment – Papertrey Ink Vintage Picnic
  • Ink – Prima “Old Road” Gray (Quick Dry Fluid Chalk Ink)
  • Punch – Stampin’ Up

Hope you’ll join us and Happy Crafting,

Hello, Happy Thursday! Today is my Friday!!  Yay! I get to forward the office phones to my hubby in the morning and head to Corsicana to finish cutting papers for my class on Saturday! I’m spending the night there as Scrappin’ Goodtime has a retreat center right there in the store! Awesome!!  If you live in North or Central Texas you should check it out!

Today for my Throwback Thursday, I’m sharing this Heart Full of Flowers Valentine card that I created and posted about on December 27, 2012.  This card is so easy to make.  I’ve made several in the past and sold them in my Etsy shop.  I’m out of these flowers now, but maybe I should buy more!

Here’s what I said about how to create this card back in 2012:

“I penciled in a large heart on the front of the card and then started filling it in with pink and white flowers.  I have a TON of these in my stash and wanted to use some of them up.  After they were dry, I added rhinestone centers by applying a dot of glue to each center and placing the rhinestones with my tweezers.  Then I added a piece of sheer pink ribbon.”

That’s all for today.  Need to finish packing up and do a few office chores.  I probably won’t post again until Monday for the next Cards in Envy Challenge.

Happy Crafting,
